Word to PDF

Word in, PDF out.

A PDF looks the same on every screen and nobody can accidentally type in it. Drop your .docx here and get a PDF with real, selectable text: headings, lists, tables, pictures, header and footer with page numbers. The file never leaves your device.

How it works

  1. 1Drop your Word file (.docx)
  2. 2It's laid out again as a PDF, page by page
  3. 3Download the PDF and send it off

Questions, probably

Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, on your own device. There's no server that receives files, so there's nothing to leak, sell or train an AI on.
Why does Word have a 'Save as PDF' then?
It does, and if you have Word open that's a fine way. This is for when you don't: a file on your phone, a document someone sent you, or a computer without Office.
Will it look exactly like in Word?
Close, not identical. The text is set in Noto Sans and Noto Serif, so a line may break a little differently. Text boxes, charts, footnotes and equations are left out, and the result tells you when that happened.
I have a .doc, not a .docx
Open it in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice, choose Save As and pick Word Document (.docx). Then drop it here.
