PDF to Word
Make that PDF editable again.
You've got the PDF but not the Word file it came from, and one paragraph needs changing. Drop it here and get a .docx back with the headings, bullets, bold and pictures in place. Scanned pages are read with text recognition. Your document stays on your device.
How it works
- 1Drop your PDF (several at once is fine)
- 2It's read page by page and rebuilt as a Word document
- 3Download the .docx and keep typing
Questions, probably
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. Everything happens in your browser, on your own device. There's no server that receives files, so there's nothing to leak, sell or train an AI on.
- Will it look exactly like the PDF?
- Letters, reports, contracts and CVs come out close: headings, paragraphs, lists, bold, italic, pictures, page size. Tables and multi-column layouts become plain lines of text, so give those a quick tidy in Word.
- My PDF is a scan. Does that work?
- Yes. Pages without text go through OCR in the language you pick, so you get real words to edit instead of a picture. Expect the odd misread character on poor scans.
- Does it open in Google Docs and LibreOffice too?
- Yes, it's a normal .docx file. Anything that opens Word files opens it.
