Questions, probably

Are my files uploaded?: No. Everything happens in your browser, on your own device. There's no server that receives files, so there's nothing to leak, sell or train an AI on.
Why are so many images WebP?: Websites love it because it's small and loads fast. Photo editors, printers and older apps are less enthusiastic.
What about transparent WebP images?: JPG can't do transparency, so see-through bits become white. Need to keep them? Pick PNG as the output instead.
