Scanned pages have no text to search. Make them searchable first, then Find & redact works on them too.

Works best on printed text in a clear, straight photo. Handwriting is hit and miss. For a phone photo of a page, run it through the document scanner first: straightened and cleaned up, it reads a lot better.
