The photos and scans inside get re-encoded and scaled to a sensible resolution. Text, links and form fields stay exactly as they were, and leftover junk from earlier edits gets thrown out.

MozJPEG, WebP or AVIF, whatever you pick. Huge phone photos get scaled to a size screens can actually show, and the GPS location goes in the bin.

Screenshots & graphics

PNGs get a smarter colour palette (like TinyPNG does) and are then packed with OxiPNG. Same look, a fraction of the size.

Video? Not yet. The video engine alone is bigger than most e-mail attachment limits, which is a bit too ironic even for me.
