What do they know about you? Ask.

Companies have to tell you what data they keep on you, and delete it if you ask. Most people never do, because the letter sounds like homework. Tick what you want, fill in the company, and get a proper letter with the right legal articles and deadline. I don't want your data. Now make them give you theirs.

Where do I send it?
Look in the company's privacy policy for a privacy e-mail address or their data protection officer (DPO). Many have a form too; paste the letter in there.
Do I have to explain why?
No. You don't need a reason to see your data or ask for it to be deleted. Some requests can be refused (for example, data they must keep for tax), but they have to tell you why.
Does it cost anything?
No. Under the GDPR and most similar laws, a first request is free. They can only charge for requests that are clearly excessive.
What if they don't answer?
Use the Reminder option. Still nothing? You can file a complaint with the data protection authority, usually online and for free.
